Meet Dr. Katie

“Dr. Katie” is a board certified pediatric dentist who loves to make dentistry fun and help children achieve a healthy smile. She understands the anxiety some patients may feel about going to the dentist because she suffered a traumatic dental injury as a child. She was blessed to have a pediatric dentist who was fun and gentle.  Dr. Katie’s goal is to make every patient feel as comfortable as her own pediatric dentist made her feel.

Dr. Katie graduated summa cum laude from the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University. She was accepted into the dental honors society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Prior to dental school, Dr. Katie graduated from the University of Pittsburgh (Go Panthers!).

After graduating dental school, Dr. Katie completed a one-year general practice residency at Virtua Hospital in Southern New Jersey. After working on a wide array of cases, it was obvious to her that children’s dentistry was her calling.  Her goofy nature and love of children brought her to a two- year pediatric residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA.  After residency, she spent 4 years in private practice before moving back to where she grew up.

When not in the office, Dr. Katie enjoys running, hiking, skiing, rooting for all her favorite sports teams and spending time with her husband, Matt, son, Benjamin, and their dog, Diego.
